HUNTING FOR GEMSTONES
I travel extensively to select each gemstone materials used in my jewelry designs. I have spent a lifetime learning from my father, a gemstone cutter, how to identify top-quality stones. Whether training with my dad in California how to cut the perfect gemstone cabochon, cutting gems in my own studio in New Jersey, or traveling to Arizona for my annual gemstone buying extravaganza, gemstones are truly my passion!
Each year, I kiss my wife and kids goodbye and head out to Arizona to the largest gem show in the world, the Tucson Gem & Mineral Show. I hunt through thousands of gems to find the perfect materials to bring back home. With over 50 shows spread all across Tucson, I spend weeks scouring each venue and interacting with vendors from all around the world, just to bring you the finest quality gems.
