INTRODUCING these super fun ocean inspired hand-shaped SURFITE SURF STAR earrings. These are a big bold pair but super lightweight! I made a variety of these in various colors. Up early & preparing to start cutting up a bunch of SURFITE on my 10 inch wet tile saw. This saw is quite the beast and cuts through huge pieces of leftover surfboard resin with ease. Going to be cutting most of the day today so I can store this repurposed material for future designs.😜

Zachary Bloom takes raw materials and turns them into wearable works of art. He is well known for his one-of-a-kind creations and has been exhibiting at art shows for over 20 years.
Zachary specializes in working with raw gemstone rough which he sources worldwide and turns into bold elegant jewelry designs. He also hand-shapes colorful lightweight jewelry out of leftover surfboard resin waste (SURFITE) which he collects from surfboard shapers on the Jersey Shore, across the country, and beyond.
