When I say hand-shaped, this is what I mean. As a traditional lapidary artist (gemstone cutter), I use my lapidary wheels to hand-shape many of my SURFITE DESIGNS. These wheels are encrusted with diamonds and so they can shape just about any material and the wheels work very well for recycled surfboard resin.😍

Zachary Bloom takes raw materials and turns them into wearable works of art. He is well known for his one-of-a-kind creations and has been exhibiting at art shows for over 20 years.
Zachary specializes in working with raw gemstone rough which he sources worldwide and turns into bold elegant jewelry designs. He also hand-shapes colorful lightweight jewelry out of leftover surfboard resin waste (SURFITE) which he collects from surfboard shapers on the Jersey Shore, across the country, and beyond.
