Captured this photo of my custom made sign yesterday morning at the ALO 18th Annual Longboard Classic surf competition early in the morning before it began. It was quite a cool experience to be able to part of the event yesterday! The show was a good one for me right up till closing when a massive storm hit LBI!!! Thank goodness the event was just ending and everyone on the beach hustled to pack up & get to safety before the storm hit Long Beach Township. Whew…took me a long time to get back home off the island to Denville, but the show was definitely worth it and can’t wait to return next year.😜

Zachary Bloom takes raw materials and turns them into wearable works of art. He is well known for his one-of-a-kind creations and has been exhibiting at art shows for over 20 years.
Zachary specializes in working with raw gemstone rough which he sources worldwide and turns into bold elegant jewelry designs. He also hand-shapes colorful lightweight jewelry out of leftover surfboard resin waste (SURFITE) which he collects from surfboard shapers on the Jersey Shore, across the country, and beyond.
