This is one very special BOLD bracelet. A stunning combination of hand-shaped satin finished free-form SURFITE beads combined with Owyhee, OR blue opal rondelles, silver spacer accents, and a fine detailed silver toggle clasp. You can see the gorgeous chunk of recycled surfboard resin used to make all these colorful beads. I collected this surfboard resin from Oceanside, CA from the phenomenal surfboard shaper Michael Takayama. This is truly a one-of-a-kind creation never to be duplicated.

Zachary Bloom takes raw materials and turns them into wearable works of art. He is well known for his one-of-a-kind creations and has been exhibiting at art shows for over 20 years.
Zachary specializes in working with raw gemstone rough which he sources worldwide and turns into bold elegant jewelry designs. He also hand-shapes colorful lightweight jewelry out of leftover surfboard resin waste (SURFITE) which he collects from surfboard shapers on the Jersey Shore, across the country, and beyond.
